PHOTO NEWS: LG Chairman Sits Under Tree On First Day In Office
The newly inaugurated chairman of Emohua Local Government Area, Dr. Chidi Lloyd, on Monday, formally took office under a tree within the council headquarters.
The chairman was said to have told his staff that his office was “dirty and unkept” and therefore opted for the open space.

THE WHISTLER gathered that the immediate past chairman of the council, Tom Aliezi, did not use his office towards his last weeks as council boss.
The prolonged absence, this website gathered, may have led to the accumulation of dirt in the office of the chairman. .
The chairman was said to have also addressed staff of the council today from under the tree which served as his office.

Loyd is a former majority leader in the Rivers State House of Assembly and a three-time member of the House.
