PLATEAU: 6 Killed In Fresh Attack As 18 Lives Lost In 20 Days
No fewer than 18 persons have been killed in the last 20 days in Plateau State.
Armed group on Thursday reportedly invaded Chol village in the Vwang District of Jos South Local Government Area of the state, killing six persons.

A statement by the state police command said the assailants also killed five cows.

The state’s police spokesperson, Ubah Ogaba, disclosed that the command had deployed “a team of policemen and the STF Sector 6 personnel” to the location to “beef up security”.
On June 13, gunmen suspected to be herdsmen had reportedly killed 12 people in an attack on Kuru community in Jos South LGA of the State.
The police had also promised to investigate the issue and prosecute the perpetrators of the act.
