The Nigerian Army has confirmed the killing of the Garrison Commander, 33 Artillery Brigade in Shadawanka Barracks, Bauchi state, Mohammed Barack. Mr Barack, who was riding a power bike, was shot on Jos-Bauchi highway, by unidentified gunmen while returning from Kaduna on Sunday. It was not clear whether he was killed by bandits or assassins.
