Deby, who spoke about her experience after the visit, said she was touched by the story of a female inmate who revealed how she stopped seeing her period since 2018 after undergoing a surgery.

She wrote in a Facebook post: “Today was indeed amazing and God alone should take all the glory.

“We saw the joy and excitement as the inmates saw us. Something spectacular happened today during our visit, a certain inmate who is a female stood up and told us how one of them has been in severe pain for a long time.

“She had surgery in 2018 while in prison and since then she haven’t seen her period. From time to time the pain would come and she could hardly walk.

“Las Las, na money matter and as usual, I spoke in faith and assured her we’ll see what we can do. We prayed for her and left. At that point, I knew I was already exhausted in cash.

“By the time we got out of the prison yard, I got credited and hopefully we’ll send her the money tomorrow morning for treatment to commence,” she narrated.
