Soludo Pays Exam Fees For Inmates Of Onitsha Correctional Center

Anambra State Governor Prof . Chukwuma Soludo has cleared the examination fees for candidates of the Onitsha Custodial Center of the Correctional Services, who sat for the NABTEB GCE and Technical examinations.

This was in line with the governor’s vision and promise to ensure that the inmates left the center as a better citizens before their incarceration.

Handing over the cheque of N1, 220, 000, the Commissioner for Education Prof. Ngozi Chuma-Udeh pointed out that the gesture was in keeping with Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s resolve to make better citizens out of the inmates after service.

She however appeal to the beneficiaries to make maximum use of the opportunity provided to better their lives.

Responding after receiving the cheque, the Controller of Nigeria Correctional Service, Anambra State Command, Usifo E, thanked the governor for the donations.
