Spain Ignores Sergio Ramos For Euro 2020

Real Madrid Captain, Sergio Ramos, has been excluded from the Spanish national team squad  for the Euro 2020 which is scheduled for this  summer.

This was based on the selection made by Spain national team coach, Luis Enrique, on Monday.

Based on the list, Ramos who was a key member of the squad in 2008 and 2012 European Championship victory, was excluded.

Ramos suffered injury which forced him to watch the last fixtures of La Liga from the stand.

Enrique said, “My conversation with Sergio yesterday remains private, I won’t tell anyone.

“It was not easy to tell him something which was not positive for him, but I have to make decisions which I and my staff consider is best for the team.”

Goalkeepers: Unai Simon, David de Gea, Robert Sanchez.

Defenders: Jose Gaya, Jordi Alba, Pau Torres, Aymeric Laporte, Eric Garcia, Diego Llorente, Cesar Azpilicueta, Marcos Llorente.

Midfielders: Sergio Busquets, Rodri, Pedri, Thiago Alcantara, Koke, Fabian.

Forwards: Dani Olmo, Mikel Oyarzabal, Alvaro Morata, Gerard Moreno, Ferran Torres, Adama Traore, Pablo Sarabia.
