Tipper Summersaults In Anambra Road Accident, Two Injured

A 911 Mercedes tipper with registration number NCA 14 XB summersaulted in a lone accident that occurred at Ideani hill, Nnobi Nnewi, in Anambra State on Tuesday.

The accident was caused by over-speeding but no life was lost,our correspondent gathered.

However, another accident involving a Mercedes Benz lorry with registration number UKP761XA was recorded on Monday at Lagos park, Onitsha, in Anambra State.

An eye witness said two persons were injured in the accident, and blamed the crash on the driver, one Mr Ogubike Sunday Chukwudi, for over-speeding.

It was gathered that four male adults were on board. The injured two were conveyed to St John’s Hospital, Upper Iweka, for medical attention.

SRC Edor Florence, sector public education officer, FRSC, Anambra State, told reporters that two persons were involved in the crash.

According to her, “One male adult sustained some degree of injuries, and was rushed to General Hospital, Nnewi, for treatment.” She added that, “The sector commander, FRSC, Anambra State, CC Andrew A Kumapayi, has warned motorists to desist from over-speeding, especially in built-up areas.”
