Former President of the United States, Barack Obama, has intensified his campaign for the election of former Vice President Joe Biden ahead of the November 3 presidential election.

In a Facebook post on Thursday, Obama argued that Biden’s leadership capacity and team would lead the country out of “dark times”.
He pleaded with Americans to troop out and vote.
“I am asking you to believe in Joe’s ability, and Kamala’s ability, to lead this country out of these dark times and help us build back better.
” We can’t just imagine a better future; we’ve got to fight for it. We’ve got to outhustle the other side. We’ve got to vote like never before and leave no doubt.

“Make a plan right now for how you’re going to get involved and vote. Do it as early as you can and tell your family and friends how they can vote, too. Don’t stop with Joe and Kamala – make sure you vote all the way down the ticket.
“And if we pour all our effort into these 13 days; if we vote up and down the ticket like never before; then we will elect Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. And we will leave no doubt about what this country we love stands for,” he stated.
On his part, the US President, Donald Trump, maintained that he remained the best person to lead America’s future at the moment.
“I did more in 47 months than Biden did in 47 years. A VOTE for Republicans is a VOTE for SAFE communities, great JOBS, and a limitless FUTURE for ALL AMERICANS!
“For years you had a President who apologised for America—now you have a President who is standing up for America, and standing up for YOU. So get your friends, get your family, get your neighbours and co-workers, and GET OUT AND VOTE,” he tweeted on Thursday.
