VIDEO: High Price Of Fuel Forces Enugu Monarch To Begin Commercial Driving

A prominent traditional ruler in Enugu North senatorial zone of Enugu State was Friday seen carrying passengers along Enugu-Nsukka road shortly after purchasing petroleum motor spirit at an exorbitant price.

A scan on his dashboard showed that the traditional ruler, driving his government-funded Hundai salon car, filled his tank, and was looking unhappy.

He drove to a bus stop at Ugwuogo, and loaded passengers going to Opi at N500 each.

One of the passengers in the branded car was heard whispering that the traditional ruler, who is in his mid-70s, was in habit of picking passengers on highways. It is however not clear if he does it regularly, or occasionally.

At various security checkpoints he drove across, he was seen waving at operatives with familiarity.
