‘We Can’t Stoop Low To Meet With A Common Minister Of Youths That Doesn’t Know His Work’ – Militants

The Niger Delta Avengers, on Monday refuted claims that the group sent representatives to meet with the Minister of Youths and Sports, Solomon Dalung on July 15.

The group made the claim following alleged announcement by Dalung, that he held talks with members of militant group.

According to the minister, he took a two-hour journey on the sea to Oporoza in Gbaramatu kingdom in Delta state, where he met with the leadership of the NDA who gave him a sealed hand-written letter to deliver to President Buhari.

But denying the claim, the Avengers in a statement issued by its spokesperson, Brig. Gen Mudoch Agbinibo, said no meeting was held, adding that the Dalung met with ‘Niger Delta fraudsters’.

The statement read, “Niger Delta Avengers can’t stoop so low to send representatives to meet with a common Minister of youths that doesn’t know his work.

“Minister of Youths and Sports, Solomon Dalung has been defrauded and played by Niger Delta Fraudsters. He didn’t have any meeting with us (Niger Delta Avengers).

“Lets make this clear, any meeting with Niger Delta Avengers that the International communities are not part to witness, we (Niger Delta Avengers) will not be part of any such dialogue as well”.
