You Can Now Swap Facebook’s New ‘Reactions’ With Donald Trump’s Emojis

Few weeks after Facebook extended its ‘Like’ icon to a full six-pack of ‘Reaction’ emoji characters, a new update has being released which lets users swap the default emojis in yellow with sets of custom reactions, with their choice of reaction pack including sets of Pokémon or Donald Trump.

The new browser extension was created by developer Rodney Folz and he calls them the Reaction Packs. However, the reactions remain the same, such as Like, Love, Haha, Wow, Sad, and Angry.

The set also includes Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau-themed emoji and a couple of political leaders.

At the launch of “Reactions’ last month, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said: “Not every moment you want to share is happy. Sometimes you want to share something sad or frustrating. Our community has been asking for a dislike button for years, but not because people want to tell friends they don’t like their posts. People wanted to express empathy and make it comfortable to share a wider range of emotions.”

Chrome users can head to the Web Store for downloading the Reaction Packs extensions, while Firefox users can do that via the official Add-ons store.

Here’s how you can now change those regular inbuilt reaction emoji characters on Facebook with other characters on the Chrome and Firefox desktop browser versions.

1. Open the Web browser (Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox) on your computer.

2. Download and install ‘Reaction Packs for Facebook’ plugin for Firefox or Chrome.

3. Go to the Reaction Packs website and choose the pack you want to see on Facebook.

4. Open your Facebook account in the same browser and hit refresh. Once done, you will then see the new reaction packs on Facebook instead of those original Reaction emoji faces.
