100,000 COVID-19 Deaths: UAE PM Says Healthcare Is World Superpower

The Prime Minister and Vice President of the oil-rich United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has said that the Coronavirus pandemic has shown beyond reasonable doubt that health was the main power that shapes economy and politics around the world.

He disclosed this in a tweet on Friday.

He stressed that despite the show of power between countries, a health crisis like covid-19 has brought nations to their knees.

He said that health care should now be the main focus of governments, going by the impact of Coronavirus on nations.

Recall that since the outbreak of Coronavirus, the economy of nations have been badly hit.

Nations have also imposed a lockdown order to contain the pandemic, thereby impacting on economies of nations.

Numerous workforce have abandoned their work places to work from home.

Flight travel is relatively low.

Over 100 days since the covid-19 outbreak, about 100,000 people have died across the world.
