Ambode Beats Deadline, Picks Nomination Form

After weeks of speculations of infighting and no endorsement by the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Akinwunmi Ambode on Monday beat the Tuesday deadline to pick his form.

The governor picked his form in Abuja escorted by some of his cabinet members.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has extended the deadline for the sale and submission of its nomination forms for presidential, governorship, National Assembly

from September 5 to September 10 to September 11

However, in a statement on Friday by its publicity secretary, Yekini Nabena, the party said it has extended the deadline from September 10 to September 11.

“The All Progressives Congress (APC) has extended the deadline for the sale and submission of presidential, governorship, National Assembly and House of Assembly forms to Tuesday, September 11, 2018.”

All aspirants for the positions listed are expected to submit their duly completed forms to the APC National Secretariat and the party’s state secretariats in the case of Houses of Assembly on or before the close of work of the new deadline
