APC Crisis: Oshiomhole Leads NWC Members to Meeting With Gambari in Aso Rock

The National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Mr Adams Oshiomhole, has just rounded off a meeting with the Chief of Staff to the President, Prof Ibrahim Gambari.

Some members of the National Working Committee of the party also attended the meeting.

Those sighted included the National Vice Chairman (North West), Inuwa Abdulkadir; and the National Treasurer, Adamu Panda.

Findings indicated that the meeting may not be unconnected with the crisis rocking the party.

Only a day ago, the APC disqualified the Governor of Edo State, Mr Godwin Obaseki, from participating in the state’s primaries.

The APC now faces the possibility of its sitting governor defecting to another party ahead of the November poll.

Oshiomhole is about now addressing State House Correspondents on the outcome of the meeting.
