Buhari Warned Against Aisha Alhassan, He Turned Deaf Ears – El-Rufai

Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna, on Friday, revealed that President Muhammadu Buhari was warned by the All Progressives Congress (APC) against appointing Aisha Alhassan as minister.

But that all APC’s reservations against the Minister of Women’s Affairs fell on Buhari’s deaf ears.

El-Rufai, at the State House, told journalists that he was not amazed at Alhassan’s recent disapproval of Buhari and blatant endorsement of former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar.

According to the governor, Alhassan had never been in support of the President Buhari’s ideology.

El-Rufai further said it is at “the discretion of the president” to either fire or keep the minister.
