Coronavirus: Lagosians Can Now Request Online To Be Tested

The Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Akin Abayomi, on Saturday, said residents of the state could now request to be tested for Coronavirus (COVID-19) online.

Abayomi put out a link to a Google form set up by the Lagos State government through which residents who are exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms or who have been exposed to the virus could request to be tested.

The Commissioner said the move was aimed at helping the state government widen its coverage and track down all COVID19 cases in the state.

Abayomi urged residents to provide accurate information in the form to help the government process their request for testing.

Since Nigeria recorded its first COVID-19 case on February 27, Lagos has confirmed 109 out of the 209 total cases recorded in the country as of April 4.
