Court Remands Wife Of Ex-PDP Chairman’s Son In Suleja Prisons

An Abuja High Court has remanded in Suleja Prisons, Mrs. Maryam Sanda who is alleged to have killed her husband, Bilyaminu Muhammed Bello, foster son of ex-National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dr. Haliru Bello.

Attempt by her council to ask for bail orally was turned down by the court, which insisted the police have concluded their investigation.

Bilyaminu was stabbed multiple times on his chest, shoulder, and inner thigh at his Maitama residence.

He was said to have been attacked by his wife, Maryam, over alleged infidelity.

Maryam has since been arrested and taken to the Police Command in Garki as investigation has been launched into the matter.

Meanwhile, the alleged lover of the deceased has taken to social media platform, Facebook, to mourn his demise which allegedly occurred few days to his 30th birthday.
