Davido’s Claims On Chioma A Publicity Stunt -Fans

Some fans of popular Nigerian music star, David Adeleke, better known as Davido, have taken to Twitter to attack him after his announcement that his fiancée, Chima Avril had tested Negative to Coronavirus.

Davido had on Sunday announced in a tweet that Chioma had tested negative, three weeks after he announced that she had tested positive for the virus.

Glory be to God .. Chioma has now tested negative twice for Covid19 … Thank you all for prayers …. We love you ..

But some of his fans appeared to believe the musician pulled a publicity stunt and was using his fiancee to his advantage.

The fans claim Chioma might not have contracted any virus, and that Davido was merely using it to promote his album.

Some are now labeling Davido as a liar and a clout chaser.

Recall that Davido, on the 27th of March, disclosed on Instagram that his fiancee, Chioma tested positive for coronavirus.

Controversial blogger, Kemi Olunloyo also appeared to support the view that Davido was taken his fans for a ride.

She had alleged on the 6th Of April that Davido’s fiancee never tested positive for Coronavirus.

Olunloyo’s tweet on April 6 stated
“Chioma does not have #covid19 You don’t need to take me seriously.
Dumb people focus on your own health.”
