Dino Melaye In Alleged University Certificate Scandal

In less than 24 hours after he alleged that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC had plans to arrest him, the Senator representing Kogi West, Dino Melaye has been caught up in a messy university certificate scandal.
Melaye had alleged that the anti-graft agency were on his heels because he stood against the confirmation of Ibrahim Magu as chairman of the anti-corruption organisation.
Melaye, according to Sahara Reporters, allegedly did not graduate from the Department of Geography, Ahmadu Bello University where he had for his first degree.

Sahara Reporters claimed that three exam officers revealed that Melaye never graduated and the Department of States Services, DSS was alerted over the issue but covered it up.
“At least three exam officers at ABU, Zaria insists that @dino_melaye never graduated from geography department, DG DSS alerted but covered it up,” the report said.
They said Dino’s name was not on graduation list and further accused him of bribing his head of department.
