False Asset Declaration: Justice Ngwuta Pleads Not Guilty

*Granted Bail On Self Recognition

Justice of the Supreme Court, Sylvester Ngwuta, has pleaded not guilty to all charges levelled against him by the Federal Government.

Ngwuta, who was slammed with eight count charges bordering on false declaration of asset before the Code of Conduct Tribunal in Abuja, was also granted bail on self-recognition.

Recall that Ngwuta is currently undergoing separate trial for money laundering and passport fraud charges preferred against him by the Office of the Attorney-General of the Federation before a Federal High Court in Abuja.

The tribunal headed by its Chairman, Danladi Umar, after granting the bail application by Ngwuta’s lawyer, Chief Kanu Agabi (SAN), fixed July 12 for commencement of trial.
