Fashion Blogger Fears Deportation, Seeks Fund Online
Rutendo Tichiwangani, a fashion blogger who has lived in the United Kingdom since she was 10, fears deportation, as she seeks for funds online.
Tichiwangani is now trending as #VisaBae after she pulled out a heartfelt video on YouTube and started a GoFundMe campaign about her visa that is to expire in one month.

The UK fashion blogger in the video pleaded for help as she asked everyone to her raise £2,300 to apply for citizenship in order to avoid being deported back to Zimbabwe.
Meanwhile, Tichiwangani’s video sparked several criticisms as her followers asked why she never saved up for the six years she has been in UK even though she portrays a luxurious lifestyle on social media
She replied saying, “Right now because of the situation I am in I haven’t managed to save any money, I lost my job, I am in debt and I can’t even get a job right now to work and save. This is because with my visa expiring in a month, no one will hire me temporarily”.
Nevertheless, the Uk Home office has given Tichiwangani until May 6th, to re-apply for a visa which will be considered on merit.
