FCTA To Shut Down Abuja Roads For APC Convention
The Federal Capital Territory Administration, transportation secretariat has announced traffic diversion in the city ahead of the All Progressives Congress’ National Convention.
The convention, which is set to hold tomorrow, will take place at the Eagles Square Abuja.

The FCTA, in a statement signed by the secretary, transport secretariat, Comrade Kayode Opeifa said there “will be an influx of human and vehicular traffic,” with the “attendant traffic congestion in and around the venue of the convention.”
The statement said “all vehicular movement through Shehu Shagari way from the early hours of Saturday, 23rd June to Sunday, 24th June will be diverted at Ralph Sodeinde Street by bullet building to link central business district.”
The statement further said traffic will be diverted at Kur Mohammed Street and Constitution Avenue at Bayelsa house to central business district”.
Furthermore, Opeifa said traffic on Ahmadu Bellow way will equally be diverted.

He further assured that officers have been mobilised appropriately to ensure a seamless traffic flow.
