FG Confirms Rescue Of Nigerian Girl Advertised For Sale By Lebanese

Chairperson of the Nigerians In Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), Abike Dabiri Erewa, says that the Nigerian girl who was put on sale on Social media (by a Lebanese) has been rescued.

Erewa made this known in a tweet on Tuesday.

According to her, the girl is now with the officials of the Nigerian Mission in Beirut.

NIDCOM lauded the Nigerian mission in Lebanon for following on the matter with urgency.

Recall that the Lebanese in question, Wael Jerro, had been apprehended by authorities and was billed for prosecution.

According to the video footage, the girl would give full details of what transpired.
