Israel Launches Fresh Attack On Tehran, Beirut

The Israeli military has launched new strikes on Tehran and Beirut, a report said on Tuesday.

The new attacks came after U.S. Embassy in Riyadh and Saudi Arabia were hit by two drones on Tuesday morning, causing limited fire and minor damage according to Saudi authorities.

Israel said its ground troops will advance and seize additional strategic areas in Lebanon in order to prevent fire on Israeli border communities.

The crisis started on Saturday morning after U.S. and Israel struck Iran, killing Supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, family members and some top officials. Iran retaliated with a wave of attacks across the region.

The U.S. Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, warned on Monday that the hardest hits on Iran are “yet to come”.

The U.S. has also ordered Americans in Iraq, Bahrain, Jordan, Iraq, Iran, Lebanon, Syria, Kuwait, Oman, Yemen, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Qatar to leave using available commercial transportation as many regional airports are closed.

“Depart now via commercial means due to serious safety risk,” the U.S. State department urged.

Iran’s retaliation struck energy infrastructure across the Gulf, sending global oil and gas prices sharply higher.

The state-owned oil company of Saudi Arabia, Saudi Aramco, has temporary shut down its Ras Tanura oil refinery following Iranian drone attack on its two facilities.

Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps warned that any vessels attempting to pass through the waterway will be attacked as the Strait of Hormuz, through which a fifth of the world’s oil consumption passes is now closed.
