JUST IN: #EndSARS: Court Grants Eromosele N1m Bail

A Magistrate court in Yaba, Lagos State has granted an EndSARS campaigner, Eromosele Adene, bail in the sum of one million naira.

THE WHISTLER earlier reported that the court had scheduled Tuesday to hear Eromosele Adene’s bail application.

He was arrested on November 7 and arraigned on Monday, 8 days’s later, before the court over allegations bordering on criminal incitement, cyberstalking and breach of public peace.

The police also sought an order to detain Adene for 30 days so they could conclude their investigations.

But the court rejected the request.

The EndSARS was a peaceful protest against police brutality which later became violent.
