Nigeria Is Ruled By ‘Wicked People’ – Pastor Tells Congregation

The Senior Pastor of Royal Seed Christian Centre, Remi Agbabiaka, has said Nigerians are suffering despite the abundance of natural resources the country is blessed with because the people are being ruled by leaders who lack compassion.

He said many Nigerians were suffering in the midst of plenty despite the resources, saying that was one of the reasons for the anger and massive destruction of lives and properties during the violence that trailed the #EndSARS protest in many parts of the country.

Agbabiaka said this in his sermon on Sunday during the thanksgiving service for the 2020 edition of the Eagle Believers Convention held at the headquarters of the church at the Okearo area of Ogun State.

He said, ” Our problem in Nigeria is that we are being ruled by wicked people. Those people in (Europe and other countries) are being ruled by those who have the fear of God.

” But in our nation, we are being ruled by those who hate us. “

He said leaders like late Chief Obafemi Awolowo established the first television station in Africa in Ibadan and many other development projects but many leaders that came after that were only interested in themseleves.

The pastor said Nigerian leaders must invest in making life better for the people before any empowerment programme would make positive impact in the lives of the people.

The cleric, while advising Christians to take dominion over situations around them, said if they refused to do that, situations would dominate them.

He also highlighted sanctification as a way through which Christians could become special to ensure and escape afflictions of the devil.

He said a life dedicated to God and service to humanity would always secure divine attention
