Ogoni Leaders Visit Buhari At Aso Rock
President Muhammadu Buhari, on Friday, received a delegation of Ogoni leaders led by King G.N.K. Gininwa OFR, Gbenemene Tai Kingdom at the presidential villa.
Footballer Joseph Yobo who is an Ogoni land indigene, was also part of the delegation.

While receiving the delegation, Buhari reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to ensuring the cleanup of Ogoniland and other parts of the Niger Delta damaged by crude oil spillage.

“Our commitment to cleaning, securing and empowering the Niger Delta is genuine. We made a promise, we will fulfil it,” Buhari assured.
