President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday met with the Chief Executive Officer of Total, Patrick Pouyanné, in Paris.

The President Total Africa, Nicolas Terraz, Nigeria’s Ministers of Trade and Investment, Adeniyi Adebayo and Nigeria Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama and Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, Mele Kyari were also in attendance.

Buhari was in Paris for the Financing Africa Summit hosted by the French Government.

The Senior Special Adviser to the President, Garba Shehu, had on Monday disclosed that Buhari would engage oil and gas sector players.

He said, “Before returning to Nigeria, President Buhari will receive some key players in the oil and gas sector, engineering and telecommunications, European Council and European Union Representative for Foreign and Security Policy and Commission, and members of the Nigerian community.”
