Police Begin Search For Two Missing Pupils In Umuahia

The Abia State Police command has confirmed the missing of two school children Treasure Adaugo Samuel, and her nephew, Osinachi Uchenna who were declared missing by Treasure’s father, Mr Samuel Monday.

It was gathered that the two pupils got missing while returning from school.

Confirming the incident to newsmen, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Abia State Command, Maureen Chinaka said that the matter was reported at Ubakala Police Division.

She said, “Yes, we got the report at Ubakala Police division”.

Treasure Adaugo Samuel, and her nephew, Osinachi Uchenna, were declared missing after they could not return from school on Monday.

Treasure’s father, Mr Samuel Monday, who raised the alarm over the development, said his daughter and her nephew, Osinachi, left their school in Ubakala, Umuahia South LGA, on Monday for their home, but have not been seen since then.

According to the grieving father, Treasure is 10 years old while Osinachi is five.

He appealed to anybody with useful information that could lead to the recovery of the missing children to contact him or the nearest police station.
