Ramadan: Lagos Governor Urges Muslims To Pray Against Covid-19

The governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has urged Muslim residents in the state to use the holy month of Ramadan for intercession against the Coronavirus pandemic.

He tweeted about this on Friday.

“I welcome our Muslim brothers and sisters to the Holy month of Ramadan.

” I urge you all to use this period of spiritual connection with the almighty Allah to pray for our dear State, our country and the entire world as we battle the novel #COVID19 pandemic,” he tweeted.

He also urged Muslims to keep complying with the public health advisory on covid-19, as they join hands to curbs its spread.

“Let us remain law abiding by following strict instructions on social distancing and proper hygiene.

“May Allah accept our supplication; Ramadan Mubarak,” he tweeted.
