‘Sex Toy Senator’ Elisha Abbo Detained By FCT Police

Senator Elisha Abbo, representing Adamawa North senatorial district, has been detained by the FCT Police Command on Thursday. 

This followed a CCTV footage that surfaced online where Abbo was seen assaulting a sales representative and a nursing mother at a sex toy shop in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory. 

The police detained the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Senator today, as they commence investigation into the assault case. 

Abbo had several hours after the video made it to the internet apologised for assaulting the women, claiming it was his time to be involved in such incident. 

But barely 24 hours after apologising for assaulting the women, a photojournalist, Olumuyiwa Owolabi, levelled fresh allegations of assault and breach of agreement against the Senator.

Disclosing Abbo’s detention to Channels Television, the FCT Police Commissioner, Mr Bala Ciroma, said the Senator is being detained to enable detectives investigate the assault case properly.
