Tambuwal’s Defection: Fani-Kayode Welcomes Gov To ‘Land Of The Living’

Former Aviation Minister, Dr Femi Fani-Kayode, has welcomed Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal, to the “land of the living” following his defection from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Wednesday.

Governor Tambuwal had few moments ago announced his defection from the APC to PDP at the Government House in Sokoto.

Welcoming the governor, Fani-Kayode tweeted, “Glad that my friend and brother, Gov. Aminu Tambuwal, has left the Association of Pedophiles and Coprophiliacs (APC) and returned to the land of the living. He is a young, strong, vibrant, pragmatic, dynamic and inspiring leader who has much to offer. We are blessed to have him back.”

Meanwhile, Tambuwal’s defection from the APC comes 24 hours after Nigeria’s Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki, and Kwara State Governor, Abdulfatah Ahmed, dumped the ruling party on Tuesday.

Others who had also joined in the series of defections from the APC to the PDP include 14 senators, 34 House of Representatives members as well as Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State and the National Publicity Secretary of the ruling party, Mr Bolaji Abdullahi.
