According to Gbajabiamila, it seemed there was miscommunication between the forum and the house over the infectious diseases bill which had been criticised by the former.

The speaker said he came to this conclusion after a conversation with Fayemi.

The speaker did not however, state what the miscommunication was.

He also assured that the two bodies would work together on the controversial infections disease bill to the satisfaction of all.

“I spoke with the Chairman NGF Gov Kayode Fayemi.  From our discussion it appears there was some miscommunication between the NGF and the House,” He wrote.

“I believe Gov Fayemi’s narrative as I have known him for many years and will convey same to my colleagues. The House and the Governors irrespective of party affiliation have always and will continue to work in the best interest of our country.

“We remain committed to the Joint Task of nation building and we will also work on the Control of Infectious diseases Bill together to produce a Bill satisfactory to all.”
