Ugandan President Museveni Wins 6th Term

Incumbent Uganda President, Yoweri Museveni, has been announced as winner of the country’s presidential election.

The nation’s electoral Commission said he secured 58.64% of the votes cast.

The development means that he will remain in office for the sixth term, having ruled for over 35 years.

Also, the commission said his closet rival,
Robert Bobi Wine Kyagulanyi, had 34.83% of the total votes.

But Wine is also claiming victory, alleging the election was rigged.
