2019: PDP Alleges Plots By APC To Frame Atiku Of Gun Running

The Peoples Democratic Party Presidential Campaign Organization (PPCO) has alleged that there are plots by the All Progressives Congress (APC) to accuse the PDP Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, of gun running.

This was contained in a statement issued by the Director, Media & Publicity, Kola Ologbondiyan on Wednesday.

The PPCO said ”intelligence available shows that agents of the APC have already perfected plots to brand some vehicle with Atiku Abubakar campaign colours, laden them with arms and ammunition and take them to Atiku Abubakar’s home in Abuja and Adamawa, where conniving security agents will pounce on them to embarrass our candidate on trumped up charges of gun running.”

While condemning the plot, the PPCO urged Nigerians to note that “APC has become frenetic and increasingly vicious in its desperation to smear our candidate ahead of the 2019 Presidential election.

“We therefore call on all Nigerians to be at alert and continue to be wary of the malicious activities of the APC and the Buhari Presidency, who, in the despondency of their imminent and inevitable defeat at the Presidential poll, have sold their souls to mischief.

“Nigerians now know who to hold responsible should any harm befall Atiku Abubakar, who they have attained a consensus to vote in, as the next President of our country, come February, 2019.”
