3 Months After Inauguration, Ikpeazu Forwards 24 Commissioner- Nominees To Assembly

Over three months after he was re-elected into office, Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, on Monday, forwarded a list of commissioner nominees to the State House of Assembly for confirmation.

The governor sent the list of 24 nominees to the House for confirmation as Honorable Commissioners in the State Executive Council.

A statement issued by the Honorable Commissioner For Information, Chief John Okiyi Kalu gave the names to include: Honorable Chimaobi Ebisike; Prof Ikechi Mgbeoji; Chief John J. Okoro; Dr Hagler Okorie; Dr Cosmos Ndukwe; Honorable Ugbaja Theophilus Odionyemfe; Onyema Wachuku; Sir G C Onyendilefu; Chief Emeka Ikwuagwu; Rt. Honorable Eziuche Ubani; Honorable D. K Uduma; Barr Ekele Nwaohanmuo and Mrs Ukachi Amala.

Others are Honorable Prince Ezekwesiri Ananaba; Dr Solomon Ogunji; Chief Ikpechukwu Onuoha; Prince Dan Okoli; Barr. Suleiman Ukandu; Dr Aham Uko; Honorable Chijioke Paul Madumere; Dr K. C. K Nwangwa; Chief (Mrs) Uwaoma Olenwengwa; Dr Joe Osuji and Engr. Emma Nwabuko.

Ikpeazu who re-contested the governorship election 9^th March under the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, emerged victorious and was sworn in 29^th May.
