Adamawa Governor Bars Sallah Homage To Government House

The Adamawa State government has suspended sallah homage to the governor, Ahmadu Fintiri.

A statement issued on Friday by the Chief of Staff to the governor, Maxwell Gidado, said the the suspension of the homage was due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The statement, which was directed at all government functionaries in the state, said “You are therefore to note and adhere to this notice accordingly.”

Furthermore, the governor, according to the statement, wished citizens of the state, a happy and peaceful Eid El-Fitr celebration.
