Recall that the CP, upon his appointment on January 31, unveiled a four-point agenda to root out all forms of crime and perpetrators of crime in the capital territory.

He said, “If you are a bandit, kidnapper, an armed robber, killer, whatever high crime you are committing, No. 1. We have a four-point agenda, it is either you shoot me, you shoot us, or you shoot me. I do not have fear about it.

“The second movement is that we will arrest you and you will be in prison. The third one is that your movement will be in my cell. The fourth one that you have every opportunity to act upon, is that you should be on the run.”
