Kedelaye alleged that Dillo led several armed men to attack the nation’s intelligence agency but was taken down.

“This well-armed group in 11 vehicles attacked the National Security Agency, and this attack led to dozens of people wounded, and deaths, among them Yaya Dillo,” Mr. Kedelaye said

The New York Times reports that a heavy gunfire was heard in the country’s capital, Ndjamena on Wednesday.

The internet said to have gone off was cut off.

THE WHISTLER recalls that Chad’s former president Idriss Déby was killed at the warfront in 2021 by rebels after which his son Deby immediately took over power.

Since then, the government of the day has faced criticisms from the military and political wing of the country’s rebel group.
