Covid-19: Delta Death Toll Now 39 As Infections Rise To 1,423
Delta State Government on Sunday confirmed two additional covid-19 deaths, bringing the total to 39.

Furthermore, the government noted that total confirmed cases in the state had risen to 1423.

Meanwhile, it also stated that 637 patients had recovered while 747 cases were still active.
As such, Governor Okowa urged residents not to toy with the pandemic but to strictly adhere to the public health advisory on covid-19, so as to curb the spread.
He had tweeted that “#COVID19 is real, while stating that the best way to avoid contracting the virus is for citizens and residents to abide by the prescribed protocols.”
