COVID-19: Lagos Cases Hit 2,057, But 541 Have Recovered

Lagos State, the epicenter of the COVID-19 in Nigeria, has discharged a total of 541 COVID-19 patients out of over 2,057 cases.

This was revealed by the state ministry of health through its twitter handle on Thursday.

The ministry revealed that 13 new patients were discharged from two isolation centres after testing negative twice consecutively.

Amongst the 13 patients, 11 were males and 2 females, and were released from the Yaba and Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) Isolation facilities to reunite with the society.

“The patients, 4 from the Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba and 9 from LUTH Isolation Centres were discharged having fully recovered and tested negative to COVID-19 in two consecutive readings.”
