Covid-19 : Oyo Recoveries Hit 1257 As State Discharges 49
Forty nine COVID-19 patients whose confirmatory tests returned negative for the second time have been discharged from the isolation centres in Oyo State.
Governor Seyi Makinde announced this figure on his Twitter handle on Friday.

He stated that the figure was the update given on July 30.
He said this brought the total number of discharged cases in the state to 1257
Makinde added that the total number of cases in the state stood at 2713 while urging the people of the state to always comply with COVID-19 protocols in order to win the battle against the pandemic.
The tweet read, “Forty-nine confirmed COVID-19 cases received their second negative test results and have been discharged.

“This brings the number of discharged cases in Oyo State to 1257. So, the total number of confirmed cases in Oyo State today is 2713.”
Makinde asked the people of the state to call the Emergency Operations Centre on 08095394000 | 08095863000 | 08078288999 | 08078288800 or they should visit a community-based testing centre, if they have any COVID-19 symptoms like cough, fever, tiredness, body ache, loss of smell/taste and shortness of breath.
