Gov El-Rufai’s Aide Involved In Ghastly Auto Crash

The Managing Director of the Kaduna Markets Development and Management Company, Hafiz Bayero, has been involved in a ghastly auto crash on Monday.

The accident reportedly occurred on the Abuja-Kaduna Expressway.

Bayero was said to be traveling by road with his driver when the accident took place.

Contrary to reports that Bayero had died on the spot, Governor El-Rufai’s son, Bello, said the aide was still alive and had been hospitalized.

Bello tweeted a few minutes ago: “El-Rufai’s aide and our brother Hafiz Bayero is very much alive. He and his driver had a bad accident. He is in stable condition and under the care (of) excellent doctors.”

Bayero was until his present appointment the Special Adviser on Intergovernmental Relations to Governor El-Rufai.
