I’ll Give New Ministers Targets, SGF To Monitor Their Performance – Buhari
President Muhammadu Buhari, on Wednesday, said his incoming ministers will have “implementation targets” that they must achieve attached to their portfolios.
Buhari, who disclosed this via his verified personal twitter account (@MBuhari), said his administration will ensure every minister in his second cabinet deliver on targets attached to their individual portfolios.

He also disclosed that the 43 ministers who were last month screened and cleared by the Senate will be assigned portfolios next week.
According to President Buhari, the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Mr Boss Mustapha, will monitor the ministers’ performance and report to him.
“The incoming Ministers, who will be sworn in next week, will receive clear implementation targets tied to their portfolios. We will ensure these targets are complied with; performance will be monitored by the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation,” he tweeted.
