Lady Dies After Boyfriend Pushed Her From 5-Storey Building In Anambra
A yet-to-be-identified lady was Saturday morning confirmed dead after she was allegedly pushed down from the last floor of a five-storey building in Anambra State. The incident occurred around 3am at 6, Orakwe Close, Fizzle, Awada Obosi in Idemili North Local Government Area of the state.
Our correspondent gathered that the police operatives attached to Awada Division visited the scene, and rushed the victim to Bex Hospital, Onitsha, where she was certified dead on arrival by a medical doctor. The alleged boyfriend, one Nonso Eze, was subsequently arrested.

According to the police PRO of the state police command, CSP Haruna Mohammed, “Preliminary inquiries from the occupants of the compound revealed that the girl was allegedly pushed down from the room of one Nonso Eze, who is occupying the fifth floor following a quarrel. The suspect was subsequently arrested; a pair of female slippers and an unused condom were recovered as exhibits.”
The state PPRO added that the corpse had been deposited at the hospital mortuary for autopsy while investigations were ongoing to ascertain circumstances surrounding the incident after which the suspect would be brought to book.
