My Husband Always Beats Me Anytime Manchester United Lose A Game – Nollywood Actress

Nollywood actress, Victoria Inyama has recounted how her ex-husband, Godwin Okrim, always physically abused her each time Premier League club, Manchester United, lost a match.

Inyama who said this in a recent interview with Chude Jideonwo, accused Okrim of physical, psychological and mental abuse.

She claimed that the first time her husband hit her, she was in a state of shock because she couldn’t believe it.

She said, “I hate Man Utd. The number of beatings wey dem beat me because Man United lose match.

“Even up to today when there is a football match and Man U loses, I am like Thank God, today would have been a beating day. Even my son knows and would be laughing.

“My ex-husband was physically, mentally, and psychologically abusing me. When my husband hit me for the first time, I didn’t believe it, I was in shock.

“He still threatens to kill me or put me in prison to date.

“I always tell myself where did I go wrong? What did I do? But then, they can bring the right package to the wrong address and there is nothing you can do about it”.

She revealed that her ex-husband usually brings his girlfriends to their home.

Chude had asked, “So your husband was bringing his girlfriends home?”

In response, Inyama said, “Oh wow, yes. There was even one instance where the girl was telling me what to cook.

“I should not be cooking meat; I should be cooking fish. Fish is healthier. I was just looking at this girl, and they were ‘working together.”

Victoria Inyama said she doesn’t regret giving up her acting career for her marriage because of their three children, despite everything she had to go through.

“I don’t regret abandoning my career for my marriage because I have three beautiful children,” she said.

Inyama started her acting career in 1990 and has featured in several Nollywood movies including Silent Night, Danger Zone, Odum, Love from Above, Eze Nwanyi, Glamour Boys, Iyanga and Barraccuda.
