Recall that the German alongside two of his assistants arrived the country over the weekend after agreeing terms with the NFF which include living in Nigeria and qualifying the county for the next World Cup.

Rohr’s appointment comes weeks after Paul Le Guen and the NFF failed to agree terms for the Frenchman to take the role of technical adviser, despite an announcement from the Glass House.

The Frenchman had been named by the NFF, which said he would work alongside Salisu Yusuf, but the two parties could not come to a deal over a contract.
