Owerri Flooding: Water Up To People’s Knees As Cars Get Stuck
As the rainy season sets in proper across Nigeria, residents of the World Bank housing estate in Owerri West Local government Area of Imo state had a bitter taste of flooding on Sunday.
The rain on Sunday afternoon flooded major roads around the world bank axis and stopped every form of vehicular movements.

Residents were left with no option other than to walk through the floods while making their way home from Church and other engagements of the day.
Cars were nearly submerged in the rains which made commuters to hop on trucks as it was the only means to move across the heavily flooded roads.
