Salesgirl Hit By Stray Bullet In Lagos For Burial Today
The 25-year-old lady shot dead during the rally of Yoruba Nation agitators in Lagos, Jumoke Oyeleke, will be buried today.
Oyeleke, who was a salesgirl was hit by bullet on July 3 while displaying goods at the shop of her boss located in the Ojota area of Lagos.

According to the family, the remains of the 25-year-old would be buried at the Atan Cemetery, Yaba, Lagos, around 11 am.
Yoruba Nation agitators had gathered at the Freedom Park in Ojota to stage their protest after the Commissioner of Police in Lagos State, Hakeem Odumosu, had earlier warned that the police would not allow the protest.
Despite the warning the agitators stormed the venue and residents said policemen opened fire and in the process a stray bullet hit the lady.
She reportedly died on the spot.

The police have however denied culpability in the killing.
Due to persistent demand for the killer of the lady to be brought to justice, the Lagos State Government set up a coroner’s inquest to unravel the circumstances surrounding the killing.
